About Me

As a child I was obsessed with reading, drawing and riding horses. My interest in art expanded into a new obsession, photography. It got more serious when my boyfriend (who became my husband) received a Pentax K1000 for a gift. I kind of took it over...Oops! Then I took the leap to digital with a Canon Rebel and took a lot of photos in the Pennsylvania Dutch Country. This resulted in my first two published photos in Pennsylvania Magazine! Photography remained a hobby for many years until I moved to northern coastal Maine, that heavenly place where the ocean meets the mountains. That's when I bought my first full frame digital camera. A Nikon, at last! I began to participate in juried art shows to showcase my landscape and wildlife photography. It was my hope to inspire people to preserve and protect those wild places. I soon developed an interest in portrait photography and created a small photography studio in my home, although these days, I prefer natural light photography. It's a joy to photograph people and create one of a kind portraits that show who they are. I moved to upstate New York in 2018 where I am continuing this adventure in portrait photography. Recently, I decided to combine my interests and add a focus on equestrian photography. It doesn't get much better. I love to work with my clients to capture those just right moments. I'm looking forward to collaborating with you. Let's make some memories you'll cherish forever!

"I cannot say enough amazing things about Cindy! She has photographed so many amazing pictures of my horse and I that I will cherish forever. Cindy is patient, has amazing attention to detail, makes a photo shoot fun and most importantly, her photos capture the love and bond that we have, something that is very hard to do, and Cindy does this flawlessly."
